Two days after Telangana chief minister KCR praised Nizam to the skies, now Telangana home minister Nayini Narasimha Reddy on Saturday repeated the same.Nayini addressing media said that 99 per cent of Nizam’s rule was golden and was marked by good governance. “Only one per cent was bad,” he said.
Responding to comments on opposition leaders who said Nizam was reason for death of Telangana freedom fighter Komaram Bheem the home minister said Nizam did not kill the legendary tribal freedom fighter Komuram Bheem. “It was Nizam’s army which killed him,” argued the home minister.
Its known that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao lavished praises on the Nizam for developing Hyderabad into an international city. Showering praise on the Nizam of Hyderabad, KCR said the ruler of erstwhile Hyderabad state set up hospitals and implemented irrigation projects, among other things.
Telangana opposition leaders have condemned the comments of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and accused the Chief Minister of playing political game for Muslim votes in the ensuing GHMC elections.
