Governor E S L Narasimhan, who heads both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States, seems to have developed soft corner towards Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, rather than his AP counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu. Whenever there is an occasion, Narasimhan entertains KCR much compared to Naidu.
On Thursday, too, Governor spent more than one-and-a half hour with KCR, who called on the former at Raj Bhavan on the occasion of New Year. KCR is understood to have spoken on controversy- turned Eamcet 2015 and bifurcation of IAS officials without further delay. He is said to have objected to AP Government announcing Eamcet schedule unilaterally and reiterated his stance on conducting separate examinations for Telangana State.
When the Governor suggested against any injustice to students taking Eamcet, KCR is understood to have given his nod but not at the cost of Telangana students. He urged the Governor to direct the AP Government to stop creating further problems for Telangana State on water, power and resources.
He is also said to have sought the Governor’s cooperation for speedy completion of projects by taking up the issues with the Centre. It is being said the Chief Minister has urged the Governor to impress upon the Centre to give special status to the State and package for projects.
