The much-awaited ‘Gopala Gopala’ starring Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh ran into trouble with Hindu outfits launching protests even before the audio launch. After making a hue and cry over the content of Aamir Khan starrer ‘PK’, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Activists on Wednesday demanded Censor Board not to issue Censor Certificate for ‘Gopala Gopala’ citing it demeans Godmen and ‘Anti-Hindu’.
They even staged a dharna at Masab Tank seeking a ban on this Sankranthi release. VHP Activists received support from Bajrang Dal and Hindu Mahasabha for their protest at the Censor Board office. While a section of people feel these protests garner free publicity for ‘Gopala Gopala’,
Others opine the release of this flick for Sankranthi 2015 turns doubtful now. On the other hand, ‘Gopala Gopala’ Makers and Pawan Fans were feeling heat already. Does ‘Gopala Gopala’ hurts the sentiments of Hindus?
