Indonesian officials confirmed that they have found the missing AirAsia flight debris on Tuesday during an aerial survey undertaken to find out the missing plane. At least 40 bodies have been recovered from the sea in the search for missing AirAsia Flight QZ8501, the Indonesian navy says.
Djoko Murjatmodjo, Indonesia’s civil aviation chief in a press statement said that the missing fight debris was found in Java and transportation minister will soon depart to Pangkalan Bun.
He added that the objects which could be the door of the AirAsia flight QZ8501 was seen floating in Java Sea. AirAsia flight body and debris was spotted off west coast of Kalimantan during an aerial search.
Indonesian air force official informed that ten big objects were found resembling plane door, emergency slide, and a square box-like object. AirAsia flight QZ5801 on Sunday mysteriously disappeared with 162 people on board.
