What’s more striking in Mukunda is that there is hardly any conversation between hero Varun Tej and heroine Pooja Hegde throughout the film. Naturally, this don’t go well with the audiences and the movie opened to mixed reviews on Wednesday.
Since director Srikanth Addala has carved a niche in telling love stories, many have expected him to etch a beautiful love story between Varun and Pooja but in vain. Also the movie title, trailer and teasers hinted that the movie is a feel-good romance. Contrary to it, the movie totally turned into a revenge political drama much to the dismay of fans.
Also the talented actors like Pooja Hegde and Prakash Raj were wasted in insignificant, half-baked roles. Many feel that in order to elevate hero’s role, writer-director seem to have reduced significance for Prakash Raj and Pooja’s roles. All in all, most of the mega fans have disappointed with the Mukunda show.
