Beleaguered congress party has stepped in to the fight erupted between two of its youth leaders ex MLA P. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy and sitting MLA Vamsi Chand Reddy and initiated damage control steps. A day after Jana Reddy enquired on the issue, senior leader-Rajya Sabha MP V. Hanumantha Rao termed the instance as a “minor scuffle” and asked media to not to “blow it out of proportion”.
Giving a call for both the leaders, VH asked both Vamsi and Vishnu to ditch their differences and asked them to work for the progress of the party in the new state. On other hand, VH turned the opportunity to breathe fire on the incumbent BJP government at Centre.
Alleging that BJP is bringing up “Hindutva” issue, VH stated that BJP is “provoking people” on religion issue. He further alleged that Bhajrang Dal and RSS are trying to reconvert Muslims to Hindus. “Is BJP given power to convert India into Hindu nation?” asked VH.
