When was the last time you remembered an Indian short film strike a chord and made a great impact? Don’t think too much. Here’s the latest short “My Husband made a prostitute” which crossed over 1 million views (11 Lakh 40 thousand views) in just 4 days. The video is going viral and taken internet by rage.
Directed by Pankaj Thakur, the 3-minute 19 seconds video is a fictional account about a lady whose husband met with a tragic fate when drunk and drive. Although she is educated, she “compelled” to take “prostitution” as career in order to get “highest pay” in “shortest time” so that she could survive and pay her husband’s medical bills.
Starring Sanghmitra Hitaishi as the solo artiste in the video, the movie presented by “Mission Sharing Knowledge” conveys a stern message and cautions that “Drink and Drive” could drastically affect one’s family.
