Naga Chaitanya has been carving for mass image and he tried various means but mostly remained unsuccessful in his attempts. He is getting confined to Lover Boy on silver screen. Now many feel that Chaitu misjudged PNLJ.

A source claims that director Ravi Kumar Chowdary prepared the story of PNLJ for Naga Chaitanya and had few discussions, but with Chaitu being reluctant, it was later, altered to suit the debutant actor Sai Dharam Tej and it worked. Initially, producer Bunny Vaas wanted to do a film with Naga Chaitanya and Ravi Kumar Chowdary and but later things didn’t fall in place, and it landed in the lap, of Chiru’s nephew. 

“With Rey, getting delayed, Arvind and Dil Raju tweaked the script and launched Sai and it is receiving good response and strategy paid off” says the source. May be, Naga Chaitanya felt that ‘onscreen chemistry’ missing between hero and heroine, due to their constant bickering, or for other reasons, but Sai got it a right time?
