Though the state had a lot of potential and resources, the unified Andhra Pradesh lacked severely when it came to the tourism department. All these years, the AP tourism has been following a laidback approach and the influx of tourists from other states or countries was hardly negligible.
But the bifurcation has resulted in the birth of two tourism verticals- the Telangana tourism and the AP tourism. As a result, the competition angle has picked up and the officials of both states are working hard towards promoting their tourist destinations. In a way, this is a good sign for the Telugu lands.
The travel explorers say a lot needs to be done to promote and market the tourist destinations in both states. At the same time, they also suggest the governments should come forward with the right kind of budgets and ensure that the funds are not misused and this will surely fetch a long term benefit. As such, there are many tourist spots in both sides so let us wish all this is happening for a good output.
