Gone are the days where seniors take over juniors and juniors are confined to back seat. That phase is passe. Now young heroes are in a roll and outshining even seniors. The quintessential example is this Friday Box Office in Tollywood.
While there are four releases this week, two films are of young heroes and two films are of senior heroes. Sundeep Kishan-starrer Joru and Allari Naresh-starrer Brother of Bommali occupied chunk of theatres and so publicity. Most of the posters, TV ads, print ads and web ads were filled with these two films where as Arjun’s Jai Hind 2 and Senior Naresh’s Parampare were hardly seen.
This clearly indicates juniors taking over seniors and planning well in marketing, publicity. “Even hero like Arjun who is well-known in Telugu and worked with directors like Shankar has confined to less screens and low publicity,” shared a distributor.
