The first Chief Miniter of Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu, well-known for his economic reforms and man behind Information Technology growth in Hyderabad, was the cynosure of all eyes at the just concluded India Economic Summit. Speaking to Vikram Chandra, Naidu spoke at length about the truncated state of Andhra Pradesh and to bridge the gap between states and Central government. Naidu admitted that Andhra Pradesh state government is working hand-in-hand with the Government of India and closely associated with PM Narendra Modi.
Naidu in his usual manner heaped praises on Modi and however said that political connections and networking boost the state’s developmenyt. “It’s very important to maintain good relation with Centre government. We’re working very closely with Union Government. We have strong connections with each and every Ministry in GOI,” said Naidu. Naidu talked about Public-Private Partnership in building Infrastructure, employment, skill development and knowledge development. He also emphasized the need for entrepreneurship, inclusive growth and development of Andhra Pradesh in coming years.
Naidu also explained the delegates of Economic Summit over the management of severe cyclonic storm Hudhud. He said that’s good case study for everyone to learn a lot from the natural disaster. Wooing investors to AP across all sectors, Naidu assured 24X7 power to industries, Chandrababu also said that bandwidth to each and every household will be laid in order to deliver 100mbps internet. At the same time, Chandrababu said that there is greater need and place for new entrepreneurs and he said he has specific plan to promote startup companies and going to setup startup villages.
He said that AP has over 1000 Km coastline where he wants to develop over 10 ports so that Andhra Pradesh will be Gate Way of India. Naidu’s speech is certainly music of ears to the people of Andhra Pradesha and also to the industrialists. Naidu once again proved his mettle. He said that there should be healthy “competition” between states and that’s how he said “Uniting States of India” is important for the overall growth of Nation.
