Brahmanandam has gone past the stage of being a top comedian. Maybe he must be called mega comedian. The situation is such special characters are written for Brahmanandam right at the time of finalizing the script. He is okayed right when the hero and heroine are decided. And though two to three of his are released every week, Brahmi kind of competes with himself and still manages to stay on top. But this week, he will have competition from Karthika who plays sister to Allari Naresh in Brother of Bommali.
Brahmanandam plays a pivotal role in Joru. He plays the heroines uncle and he does various feats to please his brother-in-law or the heroine’s father. On the other hand, Karthika plays the sister character in Brother of Bommali. She also has a comedy role and looking at the trailers, one can say that she has pulled off her role rather well. If Karthika’s character clicks at the box office, there is no doubt that the writers will get into a frenzy scripting special characters for her.
