The economics of filmmaking and the revenue generation has become quite a challenge for every filmmaker. One fundamental that they believe strongly is to do maximum publicity and only that can pull the crowds to the theatres. In that aspect, Bollywood and some of its superstars are way above everyone.
The latest example for that is the new release ‘Happy New Year’ starring the Bollywood Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan. From many years, SRK is known to be a master when it comes to selling his product. True to that, it is heard that for ‘HNY’ he has spent a whopping Rs 25 crores just for promotion and publicity.
While the film is raking in good collections and has already crossed the Rs 100 crores mark, King Khan and team have not stopped and added another promotional song to it. Prior to release, they visited countries like UK and USA and did live shows. Well, it sure is creating a new benchmark for other star heroes then.
