Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his globetrotting still continues but it is happening with a proper strategy and progressive vision. After wrapping up his trip to the US, Modi is now heading towards Australia next month to be part of the G-20 summit and after this, he would be heading to Fiji.
The agenda behind Modi’s visit to Fiji is to connect with the vast Indian diaspora in that region. And here is an interesting update. Modi is also planning to invite 16 nations in that surrounding areas and explore options of revamping and strengthening the business and economic ties.
The list of invites include Australia, Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, New Zealand, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Republic of Marshall Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu. If this meeting is held successfully, it would open new markets for Indian economy.
