Finally, after ripping through all the hurdles, Kollywood’s Powerstar Vijay made it to theatres as promised with his ‘Kaththi’ directed by AR Murugadoss. As the duo has delivered a smashing ‘Tupaki’ for Diwali 2012, they are expecting to repeat a similar fate for this year’s lights festival too. Have a look at what our folks from Chennai have to say about the flick.
As reported earlier, Vijay played a dual role in the movie of which one is a conman and the other one is a social activist. ‘Kaththi’ is said to be high on emotional dose rather loads of entertainment. While first of is little slow in narration, second half portrayed the best of Murugadoss’ directorial brilliance. Vijay is brilliant with his dual roles, while fans like his conman role, serious movie lovers empathize with the activist role where he quizzes about corruption, farmer suicides and social responsibility of corporate companies. This double treat from Vijay should surely overwhelm his fan bases. Telugu version of Kaththi, titled the same, will hit screens on October 31st.
