During the Telangana agitation, the TRS chief KCR predicted that once the new state forms, it will become ‘Bangaru Telangana’. While many of his critics mocked it, the reality may not be far. Ideally, there are only two major challenges for KCR at this point, they are Water and power.
If he can fix it then as he predicted, Hyderabad will become world class capital. Already, he has commenced the lake alignment project. It is obvious that for the next two to three years, the power and water crisis will be on. If he can sustain that period then Bangaru Telangana is not far.
That way, he is just two steps away from achieving his vision and goal. Let us hope he does not delay things further and concentrates on tackling these issues at the earliest. Before we realize, the 2019 elections will approach and he has to pick up the speed. For now, the project has not started anywhere.
