Audio Review: Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya

dikkulu

The music of Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya, unveiled recently, is refreshing and soothing. Each song stands out in its own respective. This is certainly out-of-the-box and experimental music album which one don’t often find/listen in Telugu. Be it “Dintana…” or “Chembistri…” or “Telipotunna” or “Anthe Premanthe”, or “Andari Rathalu” each song has an undercurrent message to present youth. Title song “Dikkulu Choodaku” seems to be a montage song before the interval. Lyrics of the album are simple, energetic and sinking with the tunes.

Yet the album has its share of shortcomings. Like we said before, this is an experimental album and may not strike chord with regular set of audiences. Especially, don’t expect romantic songs from this album. The songs are a bit slow and the length of few songs (like Dintana) might put off. Barring this, the album of Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya is novel attempt and deserves all the accolades. On whole, Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya is MM Keeravani’s masterstroke.
