Manchu Vishnu is of late devising intelligent strategies to market and promote his films. He created a stir in trade circles by daringly announcing an auction-stunt for his ‘Anukshanam’ online. After this auction has won enormous attention and support from many biggies, Vishnu is now startling one and all with his ‘release date’ strategy.
RGV’s latest flick featuring Vishnu in the lead happens to be crime and investigation thriller ‘Anukshanam’. This movie will hit screens on September 13th, that is exactly a day after Raviteja’s ‘Power’ takes on boxoffice i.e. September 12th. And similarly, Vishnu’s another production venture ‘Current Theega’, where his brother Manchu Manoj is playing hero, will release on October 2nd. Tollywood is going to witness a biggest release a day before on October 1st, with Ram Charan’s mega flick Govindudu Andarivadele ready to beat the drums. So, on what basis Vishnu has decided to release his movies just a day after a biggie hits tinsel town?
While the real strategy is tough to decode, many say that Vishnu thinks if he takes on biggies on immediate day then people will realize his guts and confidence about the ‘content’ of his flicks. Probably that will help garnering huge openings.
