North America Telugu Society (NATS) and TANA (Telugu Association or North America) have paid rich tributes to veteran Telugu director Bapu who passed away on Sunday evening in a private hospital in Chennai.
Expressing profound grief, TANA president Mohan Nannapaneni recalled Bapu’s connection with the Association. He reminisced that Bapu was the chief guest for 1985’s TANA meetings held in Los Angeles in which the Association felicitated Bapu.
NATS president Gangadhar Desu too condoled the death of Mr Bapu. He said that the loss incurred with Bapu’s untimely death is irreparable and irreplaceable. NATS recalled that Bapu was conferred with NATS’ Life Time Achievement Award. He said that Bapu will live forever in the hearts of Telugus.
