Mahesh Babu’s tentatively titled Srimanthudu is eyeing for July 17th release. This film is a family entertainer directed by Koratala Shiva who scored big blockbuster with his debut Mirchi. Expectations are sky high on this film which was earlier planned for summer release.
However the makers decided to go for July release due to slight delays in the schedule. While fans are happy to know that Mahesh’s film is going to release without any competition, buzz from film circles says that it could face the biggest of challenges as Bahubali is likely to be postponed to July.
Although Rajamouli announced that Bahubali will arrive on May 15th, unconfirmed reports reveal that it will be delayed by two months going by the progression of post production work. No one is ready to lock horns with Bahubali, which is considered as the Movie of the Year. If Bahubali release is delayed until July, Mahesh’s Srimanthudu might step back until August.
