30 years English Daily “India Today” has conducted second survey to know the mood of the people after NDA came to the power. According to the Mood of the nation opinion poll, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has 30% of those polled considered as the best Prime Minister of India ever had. Modi has dethroned Indira Gandhi and overtakes Vajpayee in getting popularity.
Coming to best Chief Ministers, 17% of the participants favored towards Delhi CM Aravind Kejriwal as the best Chief Minister. Intense rebellion within AAP does not have any impact on his personal popularity. UP Chief Minister Akilesh Yadav came in second with 8% of the participants. Though there is poor law and order in UP, voters backed Akilesh Yadav.
CBN came in third best Chief Minister in India with 6% of voting. Participants are strongly believed that credited to CBN for the development of Hyderabad as IT Hub during his era between 1995 and 2003. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Benarjee and Orissa Chief Minister Navin Patnaik are come in fourth and fifth best Chief Ministers with 5% of votes. Surprise! Telangana Chief Minister KCR has no place in this survey.
