Kejriwal’s Dirty Politics

untitled

Arvind Kejriwal showed a baser side of himself when he sought to play politics over the death of farmer, Gajendra Singh Rathore who dies at the AAP rally.

The death of the farmer, Gajendra Singh Rathore, 40, triggered a political row because even after he was brought down from the tree and rushed to the hospital, AAP didn’t call off the rally.

In fact, CM Arvind Kejriwal addressed the crowd of 3,000 and attacked the policemen on the spot for not paying any heed to pleas by AAP leaders and volunteers to rescue the farmer.

And here comes the sickening part. Kejriwal attributed the failure on the part of cops to rescue Gajendra Singh to the fact that Delhi Police was not under the state government.

Finally, when Kejriwal and deputy CM Manish Sisodia took time out and went to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, Singh had already been declared dead.

Now we all know that Kejriwal had been battling for the Delhi cops to come under the jurisdiction of the State government rather than the Central government. But using the death of the unfortunate farmer to further his own agenda is really detestable.

Had the Delhi police been under the State government, would he cops have saved Gajendra Singh? Is it the fault of the cops in the first place? How could Arvind continue with his rally oblivious to the plight of the farmer?
