What’s wrong with Kamal Haasan’s “Uttama Villain” that failed to hit cinemas as promised on May 1st early in the morning? As the financial issues between financiers and producers aren’t solved, the film hasn’t seen light.
Telugu version producer C Kalyan however stated all the issues are sorted now and the movie will be available to audiences from 6 pm show in the evening. In the first case, why did the financial issue got dragged till release date? Some say that the producers (director Linguswamy and his brother) have thought of paying all the dues on May 1st to the Corporate financiers but as it happens to be bank holiday today, and Corporates don’t accept cash or cash-bonds, say some reports.
But how come the issue got resolved by the evening? Does corporates agreed cash or did they let Kamal’s flick loose? Anyway, for now there is no news of Uttama Villain making splash from first show.
