Telugu Desam Party Cadre welfare fund convener, Nara Lokesh who is on a tour to the United States to bring investments to the state and promote the Smart Village Program in NRIs, met US President Barack Obama. Lokesh himself tweeted the pics of him meeting Obama in his Twitter account. Lokesh tweeted, “Pleasure meeting @barackobama. Explained the smart city project and also AP being the investments destination (sic)”.
He also added that “He conveyed his regards to our CM and mentioned the amazing work CM is doing @ncbn (sic)”. Lokesh’s bluffing seem to be shocking all the NRIs. The TDP leader met Obama in a fund raising program by donating 10000 US dollars to Obama’s democratic party ahead of the presidential elections. Needless to say, Pro-TDP media will splash these photographs on the front page elevating Lokesh as a future leader.
Chandrababu Naidu is aggressively promoting Lokesh from the past couple of years. He is made TDP Cadre welfare fund convener and attributed the success of the cadre welfare activities and the success of TDP membership drive using latest technology. There are strong rumours that Lokesh will be given a plum post in the party’s upcoming Mahanadu.
