Before their grand wedding in 2012, Upasana wanted to test Ram Charan’s affection for her. She asked him to accompany her to a popular ice cream shop in Hyderabad’s Old City—a place known for its crowds. For a superstar like Ram Charan, famous for films like RRR, visiting such a busy spot meant risking safety and privacy. Yet, without hesitation, he agreed.

As they enjoyed ice cream inside the car, fans quickly gathered and knocked on the windows, but Ram Charan remained calm and attentive, focusing on Upasana. “That was the real test of his love,” she smiled, highlighting the depth of their bond.

The couple’s journey began in school, where they first became friends before falling in love. In 2023, they welcomed their daughter, Klin Kaara. Upasana also shared heartwarming moments of family life, such as enjoying dosas with her father-in-law, Chiranjeevi.
