A Traffic Cop has imposed a fine on Deputy Chief Minister’s Car for over-speeding in New Delhi. Isn’t such an incident very rare to happen in a country like India. What do you say?

Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia who was traveling in a Innova on June 12th at around 5 PM was stopped by a Traffic Constable and a challan of Rs 400 was issued for over-speeding.

Apparently, A Motorist was stopped after the speed radar indicated he surpassed the limit of 60 kmph and a challan was issued. It was at that time the Common Man spotted the vehicle of Manish Sisodia committing the same offence and launched a protest alleging Police have different set of rules for VIPs.

Immediately, Constable Sachin was asked to follow the vehicle of Deputy CM and finally chased it down at the Wazirabad Bridge which is 2.4 km away.

Initially, The Driver tried to escape the fine saying Deputy CM is in the vehicle. He, however, had to pay the challan of Rs 400 on the spot as the cop was adamant. As the news spread like wildfire, Cops had down play the issue saying its a minor incident and action was taken as per the law.
