Madras High Court had issues notices to Rajinikanth on a plea by a financier seeking to initiate action against Kasthoori Raja, father of the actor’s son-in-law. The financier Mukund Botra gave Kastoori Rajan Rs 40,00,000 in 2012 for the production of Hindi film “Main Hoon Rajinikanth”.
And later he sought another Rs 25,00,000 and gave a written assurance that his son Dhanush was married to daughter of Rajinikanth and if he fails to repay the amount Rajinikanth will pay it. All the cheques issued by Kastoori Rajan have got bounced due to insufficient funds.
However Rajinikanth disowned himself from this saying that many use his name for which he is not responsible. The complainant requested the court to do justice for him. The court had sent notices to Rajinikanth and posted the next hearing after two weeks.
