Naga Shourya waited for close to 5 years to become an actor and he impressed the Telugu audience with Sai Korrapati’s ‘Oohalu Gusagusalaade’. Shourya’s upcoming film ‘Jadoogadu’ is ready to hit the screens on June 26th and he excited and nervous at the same time.
‘I can’t think about anything except cinema. None of my family members belongs to this field and my well-wishers warned me when I told them about by passion towards acting. Today, I’m here and I would like to thank all my producers and directors, with whom I’ve worked so far’, said Naga Shourya.
When asked about selecting a mass film, Shourya replied, ‘Nobody can cheat the audience by telling them that they can expect love, action, romance, sentiment, comedy and suspense etc in a single film. There were some films in the past but these days, most of the movies have become genre-specific.
I came to the industry to become an actor and I want to die as an actor. A job of an actor is to entertain the audience with versatile roles and I’m trying to do the same. I don’t get involved into other’s work and I’m dedicated to my profession. My mom was happy when I told her that I’m doing a mass entertainer. Maybe it is time for the audience to witness the other side in me’.
Mani Sharma’s son Sagar Mahati is making his debut as a music director with this film and the beautiful Sonarika is the leading lady opposite to Shourya.
