If Telugu and Tamil folks are looking forward for any actress who should score a hit, then definitely it is this Malayalam beauty. After debuting with some dazzling movies as chubby girl with immense talent, mallu diva Asin Thottumukkal made her way into Bollywood. Her rest of story is almost like a cinema where we can find twists, turns, interval bangs and yet no pre-climax or climax.
Scoring some high profile hits like Ghajini in Bollywood, Asin shot to fame as the 100 crore club lady. Even Bollywood’s most ravishing starlets like Kareena and Priyanka have felt jealous of this south lady. Somehow our Sivamani and Lakshmi Narasimha siren failed to cash on that craze like how Sridevi and Jayapradha did in Hindi tinsel town after migrating from south.
Her aversion towards going glamorous on silver screen or the way Asin’s father has handled Bollywood PR firms, they all have dug a big hole on her back. And the result is, this hot lady has seen her last release in 2012 and there is not even a small budgeted film released since then.
Now in 2015, Asin will be seen as leading lady of Abhishek Bachhan in upcoming “All Is Well”. Trailer of this movie is released last night and we have to say that Asin looked boring and dull in the flick. Whether her character is designed that way or the depression in her real life took her reel life is unknown, but her looks made thumbs down. Will this poor lady buckles up and scores a hit now to revive her career? Let’s see.
