There are reports that she is now planning to go back to the TRS Party. Having started ‘Thalli Telangana Party’, she soon merged it with the TRS and became second-in-command to KCR.
Known for her fiery outbursts and statements such as ‘Androllani narikeyyandi (Cut the Andhras down), she was soon sidelined from the TRS as KCR saw her as a threat to the rise of his own daughter Kavitha.
Elected as Medak MP in 2009 on TRS ticket, following the bifurcation, she joined the Congress and contested the polls in 2014 but lost.
Feeling alienated in the Congress as well with no special designation or responsibilities, she is now striking a deal with the TRS to go join the Party again.
How can these people switch Parties so effortlessly? In the case of Vijayashanti, her profession as an actress must have come in handy.
