Being the country’s Prime Minister and the most influential political figure, Narendra Modi interacts with several people each day. Modi usually wakes up at 5 am in the morning. His day starts off with yoga for an hour and then he gets ready by 6:30am​ and browses through the newspapers till 8 am. He then leaves for his office at the Race Course Road and makes all the important phone calls​ ​to his friends and other important people from across the world. Modi then starts meeting the people from 9 am and​ ​interacts with close to 65 people from across the country in three sessions. Modi then reaches his office in the South Block by 10:30 am.
Modi also meets the Finance Minister Arun Jaitely, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Nitin Ghadkari,​ ​Ram Vilas Paswan, IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on a daily basis and apparently gives utmost importance to their views. Also, junior ministers like Nirmala Sitharaman, PK Singh, Jitendra Singh, Rajiv Pratap Rudi, Sarbananda Sonowal are said to be the Prime Minister’s close confidants.
Interestingly, Modi also telephones several opposition leaders like Mamata Banerjee and keeps in regular contact with them. NCP leader Sarad Pawar, Samajwadi Party leader Mulayam Singh Yadav, TDP Chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu etc are some of the leaders with who Modi is in touch with on a daily basis.
Finally, the National Security Adviser AjitDoval is the person who meets Modi twice a day. Cabinet Secretary Pradip Kumar Sinha, Principal Secretary Nrupendra Mishra are the bureaucrats Modi interacts with regularly. Finally, Modi interacts with the BJP Chief Amit shah nearly 4, 5 times a day to enquire about the latest political developments across the country.
