One of the most. insanely popular stars down south, Ilayathapathy Vijay is a man of few words and always lets his films speak. The hugely admired mass star made several interesting and praiseworthy details about him and the film industry, during the audio launch of his socio-fantasy film, Puli.
Vijay first thanked all the cast and crew members of Puli without forgetting even a single person. Calling the film a ‘first of its kind attempt’ in Tamil cinema, Vijay said that he had been longing to act in such films since many years. It was after the formal talk that Vijay’s speech turned serious and emotional.
Vijay deeply moved all his crazy fans when he revealed that he had faced numerous embarrassments before he tasted success. He then said that he only knows how to hate truly but didn’t know how to love falsely. Fans went bonkers when Vijay said that he and his fans only know how to let others live and even asked his fans, “what say, friends?”
The Ilayathapathy also targeted the pirates as he said that film piracy is like infanticide. Vijay said that he is speaking on behalf of the entire film industry and not just his own film. He even appealed to pirates to let thousands of families dependant on films survive. It is well known that Puli’s first look stills and trailer have been leaked by pirates a day before their release. Puli will release in Tamil and Telugu in September.
