Discussion on section 8 in AP state reorganisation committee always increases tensions between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. While AP CM Chandrababu demanded implementation of section 8 in Hyderabad, common capital of two states, Telangana CM KCR and others opposed vehemently.
Now in a surprising manner demand for section 8 implementation in Andhra Pradesh came. This shocked many and those who made the demand are opposition party leaders YSRCP headed by Jagan Mohan reddy.
YSCRP leader Bhumana Karunakar Reddy alleged that police atrocities in CM Chandrababu’s own district Chittoor are increasing and demanded action against them. He said there is plot to eliminate MLA Roja in Nagari.
He said police are slapping false cases and harassing Roja and her supporters only due to pressure applied by TDP leader Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu. Roja demanded implementation of section 8 as law and order is detoriariting in AP.
