Most of the contemporary politicians are publicity frenzy and often like flowers to be showered, garlands to be worn all the time especially during campaigning. But Telangana CM KCR is class apart. Sticking to his style and image, KCR is different from the rest and unique. Not many aware of that KCR hates garlands. This was revealed by none other than KCR himself.
In his trademark speech at the launch of his brainchild programme Grama Jyothi, KCR quipped why he doesn’t like to wear garlands. “In order to keep the flowers fresh, they sprinkle water. So, if I wear those garlands, my shirt would become wet. Hence I don’t like to wear garlands,” quipped KCR. Meanwhile, Telangana government’s Grama Jyothi is being lauded by several intellectuals, critics. Looks like, KCR has struck a chord with the initiative.
Before the launching of the programme, KCR visited several parts of Gangadevipalli village and interacted with the locals. He asked the locals about the problems they’re going through. He wished to see Gangadevipalli of Warangal as Adarsha Gramam in nation and promised all sort of government support. He sanctioned Rs 10 crore funds with immediate effect. That’s KCR for you folks!
