Gangi Reddy, the most wanted red sanders smuggler who was arrested by the AP police in Mauritius in February, has devised a masterplan to completely whisk away from the state’s police department. Gangi Reddy, who is now in a Mauritian prison, is getting himself ready for his marriage with a Mauritian lady.
With this marriage, the Mauritian government will give him the Mauritian citizenship as any foreigner who marries a Mauritian lady will be awarded the country’s citizenship. The AP police department is trying its best to stop Gangi Reddy’s plan, which will make it a daunting task for them to ask the Mauritian government to deport Gangi Reddy to India in the future.
On the other hand, Gangi Reddy was shifted to a hospital following health issues and his lawyers have reportedly advised him of getting married to a local lady to escape the clutches of the AP police. Recently, as per the reports Gangi Reddy’s brother and a YSRCP MLA’s brother met Gangi Reddy in Mauritius to plan his wedding.
The AP government has already submitted the extradition agreement papers to the Mauritian government. Gangi Reddy has amassed crores of assets through smuggling and even the ED was ready to attach his illegal assets.
