The special status issue has become the epicenter of intense politics in the state. Already, a couple of people attempted suicide demanding special status. This morning, the AP Pradesh Congress Committee Chief Raghuveera Reddy lashed out at AP CM Chandrababu, Union Minister from state M Venkaiah Naidu and the prime minister Narendra Modi.
The senior Congress leader said that the party will file mass cases on Babu, Venkaiah and Modi on 7th, 8th and 9th September for back-tracking on special status and backstabbing the AP citizens with their false promises. Raghuveera further stated that after cheating the state with special status, the center and Babu are now hoodwinking the people with special package.
Raghuveera Reddy even suggested Chandrababu to learn from his Bihar counterpart Nitish Kumar, who opposed Modi’s Rs1.25 lakh crore special package to Bihar and stuck to his demand of special status. Reiterating Congress’ demand, Raghuveera said that Congress demands special status to AP.
