After making headlines couple of months ago for her satirical comments on the AP Capital Master Plan, which she called a trailer for epic films like Baahubali and Magadheera, the actress turned politician Roja now called the tragic Godavari Pushakaralu stampede incident as Babubali, a film which was produced by Minister Narayana and directed by Boyapati Srinu, with AP CM Chandrababu Naidu as the hero.
The firebrand YSRCP’s Nagari MLA made these scathing comments on the AP CM after the ongoing Assembly sessions were adjourned yesterday. Lambasting the CM, Roja said that the stampede took place because of Chandrababu’s greed for publicity and that the CM’s enthusiasm claimed the lives of 29 innocent devotees.
Roja further stated that Chandrababu and his family hogged all the limelight at the inaugural ceremony of Pushkaralu and that they performed the rituals in untraditional manner, which led to the tragedy. “That is the reason why the YSRCP objected to Chandrababu paying homage to those who lost their lives,” said Roja.
