Mass Maharaja Raviteja who is on a high with back to back successes of Balupu and Power, was finally grounded with the disastrous result of Kick-2. The movie had just managed to collect 20.25 Crore share across the globe in its full run and can be termed as a disaster due to the costs involved.
The Producer Kalyan Ram had released the movie on his own in some territories taking home a major share of the loses. The culprit behind the debacle is the director Surender Reddy who shot the movie budget beyond the market of Raviteja and led the project and producer in to trouble.
The movie business did not happen as a result and the movie got postponed several times waning the interest of audience on the film. Finally the bad content nailed it further.
