When there is no promotion, then the big aura around the lead actors will bring crowds to theatres. This is what legendary directors used to believe. This belief applies to one upcoming release too.
Vijay’s “Puli” is the film we are talking about. As we said already, lack of promotions are going to punch the prospects of this at box office big time. Let us say, no lead actor, actress or technician will promote the film in Telugu and Hindi circuits. Then who could be the best bet to pull crowds to watch this film in theatres?
Vijay has not much fame in any tinsel town other than Kollywood. So we will keep him out. Among Sridevi and Sudeep, hardly there will be anyone believing that our aged beauty’s glamour will do magic, while Sudeep’s villainy might have some takers.
Hansika is a 50-50 starlet, as she never became that star-heroine here. And the only big bet for now is Shruti Haasan, who scored two hits back to back in this tinsel town with Race Gurram and Srimanthudu. Also she’s a popular face in Bollywood too alongside Sridevi. So, Shruti and Sri should bring audiences to theatres.
