The star cast of Shankar and Rajinikanth’s 250 crore Mega project, Robo 2,has always been a point of intense discussion. Recently, the film was in news as the pre-production work kickstarted officially. And now, since this morning, Kollywood media circles have been abuzz with sensational reports of a Hollywood action star playing the negative role in Robo 2.
The actor in discussion is none other than Arnold Schwarzenegger, the Terminator star, who is popular across the world for numerous blockbuster action flicks. Apparently, Shankar after failing to rope in the likes of Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh and even Kamal Haasan, has been contemplating on signing Vikram or, if possible, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
It is well known that Arnold was the chief guest at the audio launch function of Shankar’s I. Arnold even tweeted about the memorable time he had in Chennai during his visit last year. Now, the makers of Robo 2 are said to be trying their best to get Arnold’s nod to get the project an international appeal and also to recover the mammoth budget, thanks to Arnold’s presence. Whether this news will become true is the biggest question among everyone.
