Mada Venkateswara Rao Is No More

Veteran actor Mada Venkateswara Rao, known for his eunuch roles onscreen, has passed away just a while ago today owing to unhealthy issues.

Very few people know that, Venkateswara Rao was an engineering graduate worked at electricity department. He started his career as stage artist and then entered films. Bapu had encouraged Mada in his career starting stages by offering him good roles. Mada’s role is remembered forever in Mutyala Muggu. Though he was seen for just 2 minutes, he made strong impact on the film.

Later, it was Dasari Narayana Rao who gave Mada a big life. In the film Chillara Kottu Chittamma, Dasari had roped in Mada for the role of Puvvula Kommaiah. Mada was praised for his performance and never looked back from then on. He was the only actor in all the directors minds for the eunuch roles then. Mada had acted in eunuch roles in about 50 to 60 films.

Mada was born on October 10th, 1950. He led happy life until his last breath and never asked anyone for film offers. Mada had been suffering from unhealthy issues from past few months. He was very close to ANR gaaru and Gummadi gaaru. May Mada Venkateswara Rao’s soul rests in peace and deepest condolences to his family.
