Telangana state has won CNBC-TV18 ‘Promising State of the Year’ Award. The Jury for the India Business Leader Awards (IBLA) has collectively chosen Telangana for the award. Dilip Shanghvi, Shikha Sharma, Sanjay Nayar, Cyril Shroff and V.G. Siddhartha were the members of the jury committee led by Uday Kotak.
Shereen Bhan, the Managing Editor of CNBC-TV18, mentioned that the awards endorse IBLA pledge to applauding entrepreneurs and business leaders who break new ground, not just in development, scale, and market headship, but also do so with reliability, honesty and dedication to all allies.
It is also mentioned in the letter that the jury believed that the Telangana state has clearly outdo each of the criteria and manifested the outstanding qualities that the jury seeks, in the recipient of this award.
After making the announcement about this on CNBC-TV18, stories on Chief Minister’s leadership achievements and the success of CM journey were telecasted. CNBC-TV18 managing director also made a request to Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao to join them at the India Business Leader Awards ceremony, to be held in Mumbai soon. KCR expressed his pleasure for choosing Telangana for the award and thanked the jury.
