Just as the final run up to the by-elections for Warangal constituency has begun, all the parties are busy finalizing their candidates. TRS was first to announce its candidate, Advocate Gudimella Ravi Kumar as its contestant. Congress will declare its candidate today, while the BJP-TDP alliance is yet to take a call.
However, it’s the tall claims of T-Congress that is making everyone laugh at its leadership. UN a media meet today, the TPCC Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy claimed that Congress will win the polls with a comfortable margin. Apparently, the party has come to this belief following a survey.
On the other hand, even TRS will be having a tough time to woo the dissatisfied voters after a series of farmers suicides in the region and a handful of poll promises still to be fulfilled. With the polling date on 31st November, political circles are expecting that KCR will pull off a last minute miracle for TRS’ triumph.
