A new report has surfaced online that Apple’s 2015 series iPad series tablets will hit stores later this month. Usually Apple used to unveil the new iPads in October, but this year the company launched the iPad Pro, iPad Mini 4 along new iPhone 6S series in September.
Since iPhones are Apple’s top earner device category, the company focused on releasing the handsets in to the global market within a couple of weeks after the launch in September. Now, the company is reportedly planning to roll out the 2015 series iPad later this month.
Technology blog 9to5Mac, citing sources inside the company has claimed that Apple will release the new iPad Pro on 11 November. They are said be made available on both online stores and physical brick-and-mortar shops. However, there is no word on when the new iPad Mini 4 series will be rolled out in to the market. If history is to be taken has any indication, Apple is likely to release the compact model with the iPad Pro on the same day.
The new iPad Pro comes with a mammoth 12.9-inch display, 3.2-inch more than its predecessor iPad Air 2 (9.7-inch). It boasts 2732x1048p resolution display and is powered by the company’s proprietary 3rd generation Apple A9X processor, which is said to 2.5 times faster than A7 processor. It is comes accompanied with M9 motion co-processor, which takes care of smaller functional, so it takes a load off the main CPU.
Apple also unveiled the fourth generation iPad Mini. Except the compact 7.9-inch screen, the internal hardware is identical to what we see in 2014 series Apple iPad Air 2. It boasts the same specifications in A8 processor with M8 motion co-processor.
Both Apple iPad Pro and iPad Mini 4 are said to offer minimum of 10 hours of web-surfing in single charge and also house same camera features as well. They house 8mp iSight camera on the back and 1.2mp FaceTime snapper on the front.
