Along with many others, the primary purpose of a smartwatch is its fitness tracker. With mapping your daily physical activities, to keeping a tab on your heart rate, smartwatch certainly is a wise invention.
Having said that, if you own a smartwatch you must have noticed that the, especially during workouts, the smartwatch around the wrist is not the most convenient. While running or riding a bike, you have to constantly twist your wrist to be able to look at the face of your watch. If not inconvenient, that definitely is distracting. However, a currently-crowdfunding project aims to fix the problem. Shift, a product by Edgegear, is a wrist strap that wraps around your wrist and the thumb in a way that the watch rests on the bridge between the back of your thumb and the wrist. The Shift band is made from a combination of silicone rubber and zinc. Apparently, with the help of a spring pin tool included with the strap, it makes it possible for you to conveniently swap back to your regular watch strap.
Shift is compatible with the Apple Watch, Moto 360, Gear S2 Classic, Pebble Time (including the new Round version) and a few others.
