With Chandrababu Naidu patching up with KCR, thanks to the cash-for-vote scam, Revanth Reddy, the bitterest critic of KCR has more or less gone into a silent mode. In taking on KCR, Revanth emerged as an unlikely savior of the TDP and his popularity also fuelled speculation of a shot at the Chief Ministership in future. But with Naidu’s new found love for KCR, Revanth is caught in a real dilemma.
If he defies the TDP gag order and continues his tirade against KCR, he might find himself severely jeopardized in the Stephenson case. On the other hand, being a very vocal person with unstinted ambition, Revanth is finding it very difficult to keep quiet.
His advisors also opine that Chandrababu will never allow Revanth to become CM of Telangana under the TDP banner. Therefore, Revanth Reddy is in a real dilemma. If he walks out of the TDP, the case against him might get stronger. If he stays in the TDP, his identity stands in danger of being eroded.
