Much deliberations later, director S S Rajamouli has decided to use thirty percent of the scenes that he shot earlier for Baahubali 2 though much of the story has been changed. Rajamouli planned to shoot Baahubali 1 and Baahubali 2 at a time and release them in six months gap. As the movie’s production got delayed for long and producers feeling the heat of mounting interests on the finances taken, Rajamouli scrapped the original plan. He then stopped filming the second part midway and released the first part.
The movie went to become third biggest hit in India. Gigantic success of Baahubali made Rajamouli to plan the second part in bigger scale; hence he had a long scripting session with his father again to change the storyline a bit. There were various ideas thrown in, some suggested to scrap the earlier shot version and start filming freshly. But now the team reportedly has decided to keep the thirty percent of the movie that already filmed in Baahubali The Conclusion. Regular shoot will commence on December 14th at Ramoji Film City.
