‘Bajirao Mastani,’ the much touted historical film made by Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Maratha Kingdom’s Pesha backdrop starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra is all set for gigantic release on December 18th. Lured by the ever growing market range for Telugu films as witnessed in the cases of ‘Rudhramadevi, Bahubali’ falling into this similar genre, now Bhansali team has decided to release ‘Bajirao Mastani’ Telugu version coinciding with the Hindi.
Epic dramas and fantasy added historical stories have a strong market span in South India. ‘I have been yearning to tell this story for Indian and world audience. I am very glad because viewers in South will also get to watch the film in Telugu and Tamil languages,’ a statement from happy Bhansali.
While Madhan Karky, who penned dialogues for Tamil version of ‘Bhaubali’ and man behind discovering the Kilki language used on Kalakeya is managing the Tamil version ‘Bajirao Mastani’ dialogues and Rama Jogayya Shastri is going forward with Telugu version. Last Hindi film ‘Prem Ratan Dha Payo’ from Salman is also dubbed into Telugu as ‘Prema Leela.’
