Acting for the screen is not as simple as anyone thinks. Sinking deep into the skin of character, conveying most dialogues through expressions, igniting passion among audiences with their honest acting is what any best actor would do. That is what two ex-lovers are currently being discussed for. As scene opens.. Deepika Padukone enters the room of Ranbir Kapoor to bid him adieu.
She kicks him up as he’s asleep and kisses him on the lips, only to reach for eachother’s tongues and a perfect French kiss comes to the furor. With these two being ex-lovers, though good actors, one wonder how did they produce such terrific chemistry.
This is just a sample from “Tamasha” and there are many such scenes in the flick. When Deepika cries to hold back Ranbir as he’s breaking away from her; Ranbir’s encounter with his boss in a split-personality avatar; Deepika’s pain and happiness in various scenes; Ranbir making his father realize about the irrational thinking the family is into; and much more.
Every scene sounded as brilliant as it could be, in this otherwise slow and emotional film that won’t find much takers at box office. Whatever the commercial result maybe, we have to say that the ex-lovers are unbeatable when it comes to powerhouse performance. Probably they would walk away with some awards for sure.
