The BJP may have realized that in order to realize National ambitions for the party again and in order to see that Modi is made the PM candidate; it cannot just appeal to sub regionalist aspirations but also take into account, the sentiments of larger audience.
It is a known fact that BJP has been a vocal supporter of Telangana statehood but has only given lip sympathy to the aspirations and concerns of the people of Seemandhra but off late with the Seemandhra agitation turning into a mass movement and with reports that Modi plans next to enter Andhra, sources say Modi is favoring a balanced approach.
It is in this context that he used his Hyderabad rally to attack Congress as to why the party had ignored the concerns of that region even as BJP leaders were seen asking among themselves as to when did they too think about Seemandhras so that they now they can blame Congress?
